Open call: Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant Eligibility: Visual Artists Worldwide Fee: free Prize: Up to $50,000 Apply: https://pkf.org/apply/ Deadline: Rolling The Pollock-Krasner Foundation invites visual artists all over the world to apply for the all year rolling grant. The Foundation welcomes, throughout the year, applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. There are no deadlines. Grants are intended for a one-year period of time. Professional exhibition history will be taken into consideration. Artists must be actively exhibiting their current work in professional artistic venues, such as gallery and museum spaces. The Foundation welcomes, throughout the year, applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. The Foundation does not accept applications from commercial artists, graphic artists, video artists, performance artists, filmmakers, crafts-makers, or any artist whose work primarily falls into these categories. The Slick Films Fund, in association with Bolton Film Festival, is offering an incredible opportunity for emerging filmmakers worldwide to bring their short film projects to life. Recognised for their storytelling excellence and an Oscar® win for “The Silent Child”, Slick Films is committed to championing new voices in cinema through this fund.
Two funding opportunities are available:
Main Fund: £10,000 production funding, mentorship from Oscar®-winning filmmakers, production support (banking, legal, insurance, accounting), festival strategy, and extensive post-production services including color grading and VFX consultation.
First-Time Filmmaker Fund: £3,000 production funding, script development with Oscar®-winning filmmakers, production support, and post-production services.
Winners will also receive consultations with top industry professionals and the opportunity to pitch their projects at Bolton Film Festival on 03/10/2025.

Open call: The Female Voices Short Film Fund 2025
Eligibility: Female Filmmakers worldwide
Fee: free
Prize: $10,000
Deadline: 30 June 2025
First Flight invites filmmakers worldwide who identify as females for the Female Voices Short Film Fund. It is a  short film fund focused on supporting female* filmmakers and raising awareness of under-representation and discrepancies in pay and positions between men and women in the film industry.
With a financial grant of $10,000 and a direct pitching opportunity to a development deal with one of the UK’s largest Independent finance and production companies, Goldfinch. 
2025 submissions can also win an extra $1700 Mentorship with Female Film Club and £1300 Festival Strategy Campaign with Festival Formula.
They will take one filmmaker to create a concept film for either their first or second feature film. The fund will act as a development platform to support the filmmaker and their short as a proof of concept for a feature film of up to a £1M budget.

Open call: British Council International Audio Drama Competition 2026

Prize: £2,500, trip to the UK, Drama recorded by BBC
Deadline: 4 June 2025
Writers from around the world are invited to submit their scripts for the 29th International Audio Drama Competition (previously the International Playwriting Competition) which is now open for entries. The global competition, hosted by BBC World Service and the British Council, offers the unique opportunity for writers from outside the UK to use the medium of audio drama to tell stories for an international audience. Entrants should write an audio drama script of approximately forty to fifty minutes’ length on any subject of their choice.

Open call: Chalewote Street Art Festival Call for Artists 2025
Eligibility: African Artists

Prize: Exposure + Collaboration
Deadline: 4 June 2025
The Chalewote Street Art Festival call is open to all artistes who have been professionally active for at least 2 years and with a visible commitment to their professional artistic practice and media. They are accepting works that document and highlight African and Afro-diasporic history and cultural lineages with roots in Congo. They can send in their proposals on the theme “The Orbs Beneath the Nile Lead to Kongo”. Proposals must be site-specific. International Artists selected to participate are encouraged to apply for funding from their home countries or other sources to support their travel, living costs and, where possible, funding for the cost of production for their work. Accommodation will be provided to some selected international participants for the period between August 18-25, 2025.
