The Black History Leaders Summit (BLS) 2024 is set to take place on October 25, 2024, at Kopanong, Atlantic Institute House, Oxford. This inaugural event, themed "Bonding & Belonging: Celebrating Black History Month Through Arts, Culture, and Health", invites Black professionals and leaders across the UK to explore the intersection of arts, culture, and health within Black communities.
Organized as part of the Global South Arts and Health initiative, the summit will spotlight the role of artistic expression and cultural heritage in promoting health and well-being. Through workshops, panel discussions, and presentations, attendees will connect with influential leaders and gain insights into how creativity can drive change and foster resilience.
Applications are open for Black professionals and leaders residing in the UK, with the deadline set for October 10, 2024. This summit is an opportunity to celebrate Black excellence, network with peers, and contribute to the advancement of Black communities.
